Poland: Budget Deficit 2013 Below Target

The Polish budget deficit for 2013 has reached almost 82 percent after it was amended in August.

The Polish budget deficit in 2013 amounted to PLN 42.19bn as of the end of December, which equals 81.8 percent of the revised budget deficit for last year, as announced by the Finance Ministry on Wednesday. The budget was amended in August last year and the budget deficit enlarged by PLN 16bn to a total of PLN 51.6bn because of economic slowdown.
