Orange Takeover Finally Approved

After more than ten months, the EU Commission approved the takeover of the third-largest Austrian telecommunication operator by the competitor Hutchison Austria.

In February, Hutchison Austria and Orange announced to plan a merger. Orange Austria is owned by Télécom France (35%) and Mid European Partners (65%).
