OMV Raises Production

Due to the economic recovery in Libya, the Austrian oil and gas group OMV increased Oil production.

OMV presented the trading statement for Q1 today. Overall production increased compared to the previous quarter mainly due to the recovery of production in Libya (average production in Q1/12 of approx. 25,000 bbl/d). Total hydrocarbon production in boe/d increased to 299,00 from 289,00 in the previous quarter.
