Ewald Nowotny, governor of Austrian National Bank (OeNB) stresses that not many countries were upgraded by the rating agencies in the last years.

Yesterday, the U.S. rating agency S&P has put the outlook from “negative” to “stable”. According to Nowotny, this is a positive sign for Austria´s economy. “Not many countries can show an upgrade, he said.
