Friedrich Rödler was appointed as new chairman of the supervisory board of the Austrian bank.

At the meeting establishing the Supervisory Board that was held immediately after the general shareholders’ meeting of Erste Group Bank AG, Friedrich Rödler was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board. He succeeds Heinz Kessler who was no longer permitted to run as a candidate due to the age limit defined in the by-laws.
