The Austrian electricity company might win a contract for the power supply in three Turkish provinces after a competitor has withdrawn its bid.

Unexpectedly, Verbund could be awarded power supply contracts in Turkey for the provinces of Antalya, Burdur and Isparta. As the best bidder was not able to raise the money, EnerjiSA, the Turkish joint venture of Verbund, could now be chosen for supplying the 1.55 million clients in the region.
