US rating agency Moody's raised the outlook for Austrian banks from "stable" to "positive".
As a motive, the agency said on Thursday a decline in problem loans and an increase in capital rates.
According to Moody's, this is made possible by economic recovery in Austria as well as generally in Central and Eastern Europe.
