The Lenzing Group extended its strong upward development of the first half year into the third quarter of 2010. EBIT of € 60.8m. (third quarter 2009: € 37.3m.) generated the best quarterly result in the company's history. Nine-months sales in 2010 grew by 45.2 % from € 885.0m. (2009 reference period) to € 1.285.5m.
