Kommunalkredit back in black

Kommunalkredit AG earned €7.5m ($9.5) net, in the first half of 2010. It is the first period since the split in November 2009; a comparison with the previous year is therefore limited.
In the first half-year period after the split of the former Kommunalkredit in November 2009, Kommunalkredit Austria AG has made a profit of €14.7m ($18.6); after taxes: a profit of €7.5m ($9.5).
According to international standards (IFRS), the result is at €1.76m ($2.2).
According to IFRS investment portfolios require stricter evaluation.
