Kapsch TrafficCom implements Europe's first integrated advanced traffic management system

Kapsch TrafficCom AG (ISIN AT000KAPSCH9), listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange in the prime market segment, has been awarded a contract by the Dutch national road authority Rijkswaterstaat and has received the intention to award a contract by the English road authority Highways England to supply the Advanced Traffic Management System DYNAC as part of the collaborative program CHARM, between the English and Dutch national roads authorities, that will modernize and consolidate traffic management on their highways.

Vienna, 18 August 2015 - Kapsch TrafficCom AG (ISIN AT000KAPSCH9), listed on the
Vienna Stock Exchange in the prime market segment, has been awarded a contract
by the Dutch national road authority Rijkswaterstaat and has received the
intention to award a contract by the English road authority Highways England to
supply the Advanced Traffic Management System DYNAC as part of the collaborative
program CHARM, between the English and Dutch national roads authorities, that
will modernize and consolidate traffic management on their highways.

Kapsch will deliver and install DYNAC in two traffic management centres, one in
England and one in the Netherlands, with the installment set to be completed
within 26 months of the start date. After the implementation in the first
traffic management centres, DYNAC will be installed by a third party in all
remaining traffic management centres, with the contract totaling around 60
million Euro including the provision of particular maintenance support services
for a period of up to 13 years after the successful installation of the DYNAC
Advanced Traffic Management System. The parties have agreed to make a joint
statement upon signing of the contracts.
