Intercell Remains in the Loss Area

The Austrian pharmaceutical company recorded a net loss of € 8.1m in the first quarter of 2012 after € 11.3m in the first quarter of 2011.

The Vienna-listed vaccines producer achieved revenues of € 6.0m in the first quarter (Q1 2011: 5.7m). The net loss reached € 8.1m (after € 11.3m). Intercell´s liquidity was down from € 50.9m to € 38.5m. The company reduced its R&D expenses by 28% to € 5.7m. Administration costs were lowered by 3.3% to € 4.1m.
