Hungary´s scheduled budget deficit in 2014 comes at 2.9% of the GDP. Economists are in doubt whether the deficit will be achieved.

Today, Hungary´s Parliament has approved the 2014 budget. Next year, Hungary´s planned state revenues come at € 53.2bn. Expenses are expected to total € 56.6bn. As a result, the anticipated budget deficit comes at € 3.4bn, which corresponds to 2.9% of the GDP. According to the government forecast, the public debt quota will remain below 80% of the GDP.
