The smallest coalition party LIDEM terminates the coalition with ODS and TOP09. Prime Minister Petr Necas (ODS) dismissed LIDEM´s party leader Karolina Peake as Minister of Defense after only one week. Peake: “What has happened is a breach of mutual trust.” LIDEM will become an opposition party by the beginning of January, Peake said.
