The Austrian technology group Andritz will supply Francis turbines and generators for the Mica hydropower plant in Canada.

International technology Group Andritz has received an order from British Columbia Hydro & Power Authority to supply two Francis turbines and generators to extend the Mica hydropower plant in British Columbia, Canada. The order comes into force in the first quarter of 2011 and has a value of approximately € 110m.
