The Czech Government presented the budget bill for 2013. The Maastricht Criteria should be fulfilled.

According to the Czech Prime Minister Petr Necas, the Czech budget deficit will be below the threshold of 3.0% of GDP. Initially, a budget deficit of 3.5% was expected. The budget bill assumes a budget deficit of € 4.0bn next year. Public expenses will total € 47.3bn. Planned public revenues should reach € 43.3bn.
