Due to the extremely tense social situation in the Balkan country, first protests turned into violence.

In the Bosnian city of Tuzla, 6,000 workers have started protests against the shut-down of a few factories this week. In total, more than 10,000 jobs will be lost because of the bankruptcy of five local enterprises. Within a few hours, the situation has escalated. Today, the protestors stormed the building of the regional administration and set the building on fire.
