BDI: Sharp Cut in Earnings

BDI - BioEnergy International AG, specialised plant manufacturer in the Waste to Energy field, recorded a massive decrease in revenues and profits.

The company’s sales in the first quarter of 2012 amounted to € 6.4m following € 8.2m in the previous year. EBIT totalled € 0.3m (2011: € 1.5m). The results generated in the first quarter show that the market environment in the BioDiesel sector remains difficult. The total orders on hand at BDI currently amount to € 18.5m.
