Because of the crisis in Ukraine the planned sale of Bank Austria's Ukrainian subsidiary has been halted.

Due to unrest it is hard to predict the outcome of negotiations - the head of Bank Austria's parent concern UniCredit, Federico Ghizzoni declared. "We haven't formally abandoned the plan”. Thus, negotiations with interested entities are in progress.
