According to assumptions regarding fertility, mortality and migration, Austria's population will increase to 9.00 million people (+6.9%) by 2030 and to 9.38 million (+11.4%) by 2060. This new population projection by Statistics Austria is based on the reference year 2011, when Austria had a population of 8.42 million.
