The partly state-run OMV had the most expensive board of all Austrian corporations in 2009. In total, the oil company spent 10.2 million euro on its bosses, 23.4% more than the previous year.

While the corporations’ nationwide average executive salaries was slightly reduced by 4.8% percent to 2.9 million euro, there is one company where the executives were allowed to tuck in particularly strongly:
Immofinanz tripled the yearly salaries from 2.2 to 6.8 million euro, the Investors Association (IVA, Interessenverband für Anleger) announced today Monday.
