Austrians Expect Shrinking Purchasing Power

According to a survey carried out by the opinion research institute Spectra Marktforschung, more than 40% of the Austrians expect that the purchasing power will decrease this year.

From an economic point of view, more and more Austrians tend to pessimism. Only 6% of the interviewees think that their personal purchasing power will increase this year. People aged above 50 are most pessimistic, Spectra says.
