Austrian Tax Intake on the Rise

According to the newest fiscal balance issued by the Austrian Ministry of Finance, taxe intake was up by 4.7% to € 33.4bn. From January to June, the relatively high employment and the favorable wage increases caused a substantial rise in tax intake. Above all, wage taxes and corporate income taxes were up.
