Austrian Ministry of Finance Records Higher Tax Intake

In the first three months of 2012, tax proceeds were up by 3.8%. The Ministry of Finance registered revenues of € 16.2bn.

The Austrian Ministry of Finance published that the tax intake totaled € 16.2bn in the first quarter. Compared to the first three months of 2011, this is an increase by 600m or 3.8%. The highest increase was observed in the wage tax segment and the corporation income tax segment. Bank taxes were down, however.
