Austrian Inflation Rate Below EU Average
In August, the official consumer price inflation rate increased by 2.2%. In the Euro area, annual inflation was up to 2.6%.

The annual inflation rate of the consumer price index (CPI 2010) measured by Statistics Austria was 2.2% in August (July 2.1%, June 2.2%).
