Austrian Foreign Trade Shows Small Growth

January to October 2012: trade volume of more than €103 bn in both trade flows.

According to preliminary results by Statistics Austria, total imports amounted to €110.29 bn and total exports amounted to €103.73 bn in the period January to October 2012. Austrian imports increased by 1.3% and Austrian exports rose by 2.3% compared to the same period in 2011. The global foreign trade balance showed a deficit of €6.56 bn.
