In 2013, the regional energy supplier Energie AG wants to invest € 180m. The Vienna-listed EVN group intends to increase its renewable energy portfolio by € 800m until 2020.

Energie AG´s CEO Leo Windtner announced that the company will invest € 180m this year. The investments will be made in the fields of renewable energy, water supply and waste management, he said. According to Windtner, Energie AG wants to achieve the transition from fossil to renewable energy sources. This year, investments in Energie AG´s power grid will total € 60m.
