Austria: Purchasing Power Grows Slightly

According to a study published by RegioData Research, Austria could improve its level of purchasing power in the years from 2008 to 2012.

In total, 22 countries in Europe could record a rise in purchasing power, RegioData Research reports. In Austria, the increase was only 2.0%. The most remarkable increase in purchasing power was recorded in non-EU member countries. In Switzerland, purchasing power was up by 45% from 2008 to 2012.
