Austria Is Largest Investor in Turkey
In 2011, Turkey recorded $ 15.7bn in foreign direct investments, which is a rise by 74%.

After total FDI of $ 9.0bn in 2010, Turkey could raise the figure to € 15.7bn last year. This is the fourth-highest figure in Turkey´s history. Only in 2006 ($ 20.2bn), 2007 ($ 22bn) and 2008 ($ 19.5bn) higher investments were observed.
