The transfer of undertakings at Austrian Airlines is irrevocable, the management points out. In case of a lack in pilots, Lufthansa and Swiss would close the gap.

The vote on the austerity package by the aircrew will not affect the decision of the management board. The point of no return has been reached last week, AUA´s management stressed. The transfer of undertakings of AUA´s operations to the subsidiary Tyrolean is fixed. By the beginning of July, the transfer should be completed.
