AUA: Auditors Found Inconsistencies
In 2007, Austrian Airlines should not have recorded a profit, but a substantial loss of € 235m, auditors says.

The subsidiary of German Lufthansa has to implement a radical downsizing program. Furthermore, inconsistencies of the past are being reviewed. In 2007, the financially stricken airline has recorded profits. Thereafter, AUA only registered loses and did not achieve the final turnaround yet. Since 2008, the airline´s total losses reached more than € 1.0bn.
