The closing down of Alpine Holding is only a “formality”. According to Österreichischer Verband Creditreform (ÖVC), a credit protection association, “a restructuring of the debtor is not planned and not possible”.

Liquidator and lawyer of Alpine Karl Engelhart has filed a motion for the closing of the Alpine holding company at the Commercial Court in Vienna. The only participation of Alpine Holding is an indirect one of Hoch & Tief Bau Beteiligungs GmbH of insolvent Alpine Bau GmbH.
