Tiger Lacke to enlarge production capacity in China

According to the Austrian Times, upper Austrian firm Tiger Lacke has announced it will increase its production capacity from 10,000 to 15,000 tonnes of powder lacquer annually near Shanghai.

Marketing manager Christian Ebenberger said today (Tues) the Wels-based company had invested eight million Euros in a new 40,000-square-metre plant, construction of which began in March 2009, and would invest millions more in machinery.

The new plant will open in October.

The firm has been active in China for 14 years.
