After weeks of discussions about the 2011Austrian Federal Budget, the final details were announced today. There are very few amendments to the original project.

The new budget means many burdens for Austrian businesses but also for the general public. For 2011, a net profit of € 1.17 billion through additional revenue and reduced expenditure is expected, and for 2012, € 1.76 billion.
The bank tax is permanent and will amount to € 500 million annually. The tax base remains unchanged: € 340 million will be levied…
