Because of the failed capital increase in the amount of € 160m, Banka Celje is requiring further state capital.

On Wednesday Banka Celje announced that it sent a request for further state aids and a restructuring plan to the Slovenian national bank. In case the restructuring plan was given green light, approval by the authorities in Brussels is required.
