Slovenia Expects Economic Recovery As Soon As 2014

On Saturday, the Slovenian Finance Ministry expressed its confidence that the newly adopted action plan would help stabilize public finances and help gain economic recovery despite of Fitch’s downgrade.

The statement was made only one day after rating agency Fitch downgraded the crisis-struck country by one level. "The consolidation of public finances will follow the objectives that have been clearly set. We will efficiently carry out all the necessary measures drawn in its stability and reform programs," Slovenia's finance ministry said in a statement in response to the downgrade.…
