Slovakia Records Growing Current Account Surplus
In the first five months of 2012, Slovakia´s current account surplus reached € 1.24bn. Against the reference period of 2011, this is an increase by € 350m.

The main factor was Slovakia´s trade balance. In the first five months, the trade balance surplus reached € 1.92bn. Besides that, the balance of services registered a positive result of € 99.4m.
