Slovak Real Wages Declining

Average monthly wage of employee were up by 1.6% in the 3rd quarter of 2012. The Slovak inflation rate comes at 3.7%. As a result, real wages are shrinking.

The average nominal monthly wage of employee in economy of the SR amounted to € 784 in the 3rd quarter. Compared with the 3rd quarter of 2011, the dynamics of the growth moderated by 0,5 p.p. to 2 %.
