Siemens Austria Plans Radical Job Cut

The Austrian subsidiary of the German technology group wants to reduce its workforce.

In total, about 500 workers will be laid off. This was announced by Siemens Austria´s management board today. Already in April, Siemens group explained that the workforce faces substantial cuts. Siemens Austria was expected to cut about 1,000 jobs. As a result, the job cut will be not as drastic as planned. This was reported by “Presse” today.
