RWE Leaves Nabucco
The German energy group sells its shares to Austrian OMV.

In spring, RWE considered leaving the natural gas pipeline project. Now, RWE makes its announcement come true. RWE´s interest in Nabucco will be held by OMV in future. As a result, OMV will become Nabucco´s biggest shareholder (33.3%).
Besides OMV, Turkush Botas, Hungarian MOL, Bulgarian Energy Holding and Romanian Transgaz participate in Nabucco.
