On Friday, during the presentation of the spring prognosis, EU Commissioner for Economy and Monetary Affairs, Olli Rehn announced that the European economy will stabilize in the first half year of 2013. However, the economic growth will after the negative development of 2012 (-0.3 % in EU 27) and 2013 (-0.1 %) only start to rise in the second half of 2014 (1.4 %).
