The Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB) is facing severe restructuring and downsizing measures as it has to cut the number of employees.

“If there is less growth in business the growth in costs has to decline,” Walter Rothensteiner, general manager of RZB, told daily “Presse” (Wednesday issue) in an interview. According to him there was a need in restructuring. However, he did not see the need in a complete change.
According to Rothensteiner around 60,000 members of staff are currently employed at RZB.…
