Almost two weeks after the assumption of office of the new Bulgarian government, demonstrators have once more demanded the resignation of the predominantly socialist cabinet.

Head of the Bulgarian government Plamen Oresharski, however, confirmed that despite of the protests he does not intend to step back. Otherwise, the country will not be able to conclude negotiations with the EU Commission about the new financial framework and runs the risk of losing EU funds in the billions.
