Petrom and Exxon Explore in Black Sea

Petrom, the Romanian subsidiary of the Austrian oil and gas group OMV, closed a partnership with the U.S. oil group ExxonMobil.

Together with the U.S. oil corporation ExxonMobil, OMV´s subsidiary Petrom is exploring the Black Sea for new oil occurrence. The exploration drillings take place in the oil field “Neptun Bloc” in a depth of 1,000 meters. The works will be finished within 90 days.
