Austria's wine sector set a new export record at € 126m (an increase of 2.6% over the previous year) in 2011.

Norway ranked number 7 in the list of Austria’s most important export countries behind Germany, Switzerland, USA, Netherlands, Sweden and Great Britain. In 2011, Norway imported more than 400.000 liters of wine amounting to almost € 2m.
