Austrian exports to Sweden reached a new record level in 2011. Moreover, the first surplus could be registered.

Over the last years, bilateral trade between Sweden and Austria rose disproportionately high. Last year, Austrian exports were up by 19% against 2010. A new record level of € 1.4bn could be achieved. Above all, Austrian companies export machine manufacturing products, automotive components, food, construction services and pharmaceutical products.
