This had a significant impact on the turnover of the accommodation facilities. The turnover in the first half of the year was 142.3 million Euros which is a downturn of 68.7%.

The number of tourists from the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) had the least decrease in stays.

The current situation is due to the Coronavirus lockdown and the strict travel regulations from other countries which also partly include travel warnings to Austria.
