Austrian Construction cost September 2011: smaller increase in residential building than in civil engineering.

The construction cost index for construction of residential buildings reached 102.5 index points for September 2011, according to calculations by Statistics Austria. This represents an increase of 1.8% over September 2010. In comparison to August 2011 the index decreased by 0.2%.
A higher increase of construction costs has been recorded in the segment of civil engineering.…
