All efforts towards the establishment of the plant seem in vain so far, although the prospects for success seemed quite good recently.

Until further notice, the efforts to establish a battery plant of the MAGNA group at Kittsee, in Northern Burgenland, have come to nothing. The project to create a new location of the auto supplier company is being abandoned "for internal reasons", as was informed by Magna E-car Systems GmbH & Co OG to Wirtschaftsservice Burgenland AG (WiBAG).
