According to the outgoing Czech President, the separation of the eurozone would be cheaper than maintaining the currency union.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Czech National Bank (CNB), President Vaclav Klaus explained that the monetary union is too expensive. „Of course, splitting a currency union is not costless.
