Kärntner Sparkasse Starts Withdrawal from Italy

The Carinthian regional bank is closing down two branches as a consequence of the economic crisis and new capital requirements.

As announced in May, Kärntner Sparkasse has now started its partial pull-out of Italy. A few days ago, the bank’s branch in Conegliano in the North Italian region of Veneto was closed down. The office in the city of Vicenza will follow on July 31, said a spokesman of Kärntner Sparkasse in Italy.
